I couldn't help but wonder...

So this weekend Sex and the City hits the big screen. I don't think I will be camped out for tickets. I can't think of any movie out now that would make me want to part with my $8, but I must say I am a little curious. I remember when the series ended and the million dollar questions was will Carrie end up with Big? Of course, she did. However, I found it interesting that a series which seemed to fight the super sweet "happily ever afters" ended with one especially when Candace Bushnell didn't end up her real life Mr. Big. (She married a ballet dancer quite a few years her junior after only knowing him 8 weeks) I'm curious why she didn't have a similar ending for Carrie? I wonder if she wanted to, but she knew the public would want to see Big swoop in and save the day.
I have been careful not to read too much about the plot of the movie. Maybe something will happen to shake things up. Maybe Carrie meets a young dancer and he sweeps her off her feet and Big will finally get his comeuppance.
Should be interesting...
Well, off to baseball and there is actually sun in the sky. Baseball in the sunshine as it should be :0)

I'm giddy with excitment over this movie. I don't care about the plot,I don't care if she dosen't end up with Big, I'm just excited to see it! I loved this series and was so sad to see it come to an end. I have now moved on to my new TV relationship.......The Tudors which I love almost as much as I did Sex and the City.
I won't be waiting in line either....I'm old and weird and won't wait in line for NOTHIN anymore. There is nothing I need that bad. I feel like I'm getting old and my time is precious and I have to be careful how I spend it. ok, totally got on a rambling rant there.....sorry about that. Thats what hormones do I think?????

I probably won't see this in the theater as I don't see many movies in, I really like to rent videos, and we have the home theater which makes it so much more enjoyable and less stress, but I would like to see this movie...some time. Have a great weekend!!!

Did you see it? We went opening night and it was P.A.C.K.E.D! Then some girl answered her phone during a realy sad part. In the theatre! You should go, you'll laugh, you'll cry and then you might pee your pants from laughing so hard!

I saw it this weekend. I didn't watch the TV show, but was interested to see what all the fuss was over.
It was fun. A good thing to do with the girls.
